The group of researchers below are here to serve as a hub for collaboration between Rice's leading researchers in engineering, computation, and the biological, physical and mathematical sciences and the biomedical researchers of other world-renowned Texas Medical Center institutions, such as Texas Children's Hospital. Seven Rice departments are represented in the BRC: BioSciences, Physics & Astronomy, and Chemistry from the Wiess School of Natural Sciences, Psychology from the School of Social Sciences, and Bioengineering, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering (ChBE), and Electrical and Computational Engineering (ECE) from the George R. Brown School of Engineering.
